The series soundtrack is trully epic; a rarity now, especially among cartoons.. one thing that made me really impressed with Kevin the composer was the awesome but easily missed "theme" for Mumm-ra's vehicle the Storm Charger. That's right, that awesome sarcophagus/vehicle hybrid has a theme of its own, very distinctive from Mumm-ra's theme. The theme is played everytime the vehicle appears, first in 'Journey to the Tower of Omens' and later in 'What Lies Above Part 2'.. give it a listen

Just received this item last night but I just heard it today. The soundtrack is very good and reminds me of how much potiental this show had. It is a shame it was cut short but it still a good soundtrack to have. Since I doubt we will never get the original thundercats ost.

Finally got a chance to listen to my copy...wonderful...just wonderful.
I love listening to my cd's while driving...even in traffic, it's a much better drive.

I'm honestly pretty disapointed in the soundtrack.
I was hoping for a CD of the various leitmotiffs from the series and that's the source of my frustration; instead we got tracks of each episodes overall soundtrack as an arranged suite.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's bad, it's just not what I wanted from the soundtrack.
