If you ordered one of the Mezco Mega Scale Mumm-Ra from an online store, chances are you should be receiving that item very soon. Forum member NateHups received his from Big Bad Toy Store (currently IN STOCK) a few days ago. He snapped some pics and shared with the forum.
Lion-O and Tygra wander through a snow filled canyon searching for a shortcut through. Eventually they stumble upon a cave. The cave leads the duo to discover the tiger clan that Tygra is from. Initially excited, the two learn a dark, dark secret about why Tygra was sent away and why he cannot rejoin the clan.

Bandai has updated their Thundercats Site with listings for the newer toys that have come out over the past few months. Finally adding listings for figures like Claudus, Wave 2 Panthro, Slithe and some of the others. They have also added the new role play Panthro Nunchucks. Nothing to get too excited over, but at least the site is being kept up to date.
Forum member Ravenxl7 came across an interesting item listed on a UK toy site, Lamb Toys. The listing reveals a Basic Sword of Omens and Claw Shield 2-Pack. No word if this will make it to North American retail.

Here are photos of Bandai's Thundercats display at Toy Fair 2012. Unfortunately, Bandai refrained from displaying anything new. Just about everything on display were figures that are already available, or were previously shown via official images.

Big Bad Toy Store has posted a pre-order for the upcoming Mega Scale Panthro by Mezco. The listing comes with a new official photo. BBTS lists Panthro for a July 2012 release, and a price of $34.99.
Finally, some real and fantastic news. Fans of Mezco's 14" Mega Scale Thundercats look to be in for a real treat. MTV Geek got a behind the scenes look at the making of the Mega Scale Mumm-Ra, and with it comes a first look at PANTHRO! Not only that, but we get a fleeting glimpse at, what appears to be, a Mega Scale Mumm-Ra Mummy! Mumm-Ra is scheduled for release in May, with Panthro coming later this year.

Unfortunately, nothing of note came out of the UK Toy Fair for Thundercats fans. That will likely change when the North American Toy Fair begins in just a few short weeks. For now, Toy New Magazine's Facebook Page added some pics from the show. We've mirrored the Thundercats pics for easy browsing.

Toy New Online is reporting that Underground Toys has been awarded a license to produce talking plush toys based on Thundercats. The plush toys will be based on the Modern Thundercats. They will come in both 4 inch and 9 inch sizes. They are expected to hit in the 3rd Quarter of 2012.
Bandai UK has posted a video on YouTube of their Augmented Reality Packaging. The video shows how you will be able to use a mobile device (so long as it has a camera) to check out a full view of a toy without taking it out of the packaging. They use Lion-O to showcase how it can work. Check it out below.
Forum member TIGER007 informs us of a conversation he had with Bandai USA. They initially informed him that a licensing issue was preventing Thundercats products from coming to Canada (save for some that slipped into stores before the issue arose). Now he has learned that the figures will be hitting stores in August as the issue appears to have been resolved.
The 6-inch modern Cheetara figure is popping up in stores. Members are reporting finding them at Walmarts, initially in Phoenix, but now popping up in other places as well.

Forum member Nekomen found the Armor of Omens Lion-O. It was initially found in a Walmart. Be sure to stop by the forums to keep fellow collectors informed of the hot new finds.
The 6-inch Thundercats Classics Lion-O and Mumm-Ra have officially been released. I personally found them at Target in December. Forum member Jlogano20 spotted them as well. Target, of all places, is the hot spot to check for these. On a different note TARGET IS NOW CARRYING THUNDERCATS IN STORES! And it's about time.
