Thundercats Classics - Who do You Want?
 

Now that Bandai is doing new Classics Thundercats figures, who do you want? I'm sure we'll see all of the Season 1 regulars. But outside of the main guys, who would you want for this new classics line?

I would love a Pumm-Ra and Lynx-o for this line.

Agreed. Far too long for us to get an updated line.

Jaga & Lynx O for sure, but I'd also love to see the Berzerkers in modern form.

Since he hasn't been mentioned here yet, I want a Hachiman figure with his sword and helmet. He would greatly benefit from the added articulation on these classics figures.

Bengali. I wanted him when I was kid and never got him. Lynx-O as well!

Definitely a Mumm-Ra.

I would love to see a Thundertank somewhere down the line as well.

Vultureman, Jackalman, And Grune the Destoyer are at the top of my list other than the main characters.

I really hope they stay away from the Lunataks.. Such unappealing characters :(

Jaga to no end. He was like Old Obi-Wan and it's hard to get much cooler than that.

I doubt the Classics line will be as deep as we would like but I'm hoping it is. So many characters to be made. I wonder if they will all be in scale with each other though. Will Tigra be as tall as Lion-O? Will the little ones stand 8" as well or be more around 5" or so to be in scale with Lion-O and the others?

Have they confirmed the other main characters Panthro, cheetara ?

Not that we have seen or heard officially yet but they have to be in line, waiting, I would think.

Mumm-Ra in super form and mummy form.

I know they'll hit on all the main characters, so Pumm-Ra would be nice to see too.

More than any other character, I hope to see a good representation of Vultureman.

Any version of Mumm-ra would be superb, especially if he is packed with Ma-mutt.

The Lunataks might be nice, but I would have a hard time getting excited about any of them except possibly Alluro and Red-Eye.

Also, I really hope that the classic figures will look good next to MOTU Classics, even if they are taller.

Along with the season one Thundercats, I want Jaga, Mumm-Ra, Mandora, The Snowman, Grune, and the Mutants.

I'd want all of the orignal figures redone, plus the Lunataks

Honestly, I only want Cheetara. The others will be fun to look at but as far as spending money goes, just Cheetara for me.

But I honestly don't think we'll get that far.

I'll add Slithe, Monkian and Hammerhand to my want list of Snowman.

After the original Thundercats, the 3 I want the most is Bengali, Pumyra and Lynx-O.

I am looking forward to all of the Thunder Cats making a come back . I would definitely want to see Grune the Destroyer .

I want all the TC's, Mutants and Mumm-ra. Anything else would be a bonus.

I'm in agreement on Snow Man, Willa, and as many show characters as possible that didn't appear in the vintage LJN line. But honestly I don't think Bandai has the rights for the TV exclusive characters.

I remember reading in some thread on Thundercats Lair (what a strange place that is), that the Rankin Bass cartoon rights may not have been procured by Bandai. Kind of the same thing with Mattel (supposedly) not having the rights to the He-Man Filmation characters.

Well I know now with the Masters of the Universe Classics Mattel has been able to do some of the filmation characters like Count Marzo and the Shadow Beasts so hopefully that's the same with T-Cats (i know different companies).

Well ,Mattel can do Marzo and Shadow Beast because they can Filmation-inspired decos of these characters because they appeared in the 200X Mike Young Productions show but not 80's Filmation stuff like Shadow Weaver, Shokoti, and Huntara since Classic Media owns the rights.

Toyguru/Scott Neitlich as admitted on the official Mattycollector forums they still haven't negotiated for rights to the Filmation characters.

Bengali the most. But obviously a good Mumm-ra, Slithe, Monkian and Jackalman at least. The 'cats need some asses to kick on my shelves.

This. He would make a perfect accessory to a mummy form Mumm-ra figure.

Besides the obvious season 1 Thundercats hands down the one I want is Snowman of Hook Mountain in a battle pack with his pet. How awesome would that be? I'd guess it would be close to $25-$30 but I would shell it out in a heart beat.

I would love them to make weapon packs like mattel is doing for MOTUC. I can see a small sword of Omen, different color claw, the wiley boards...

I'm hoping The WilyTwins come with their boards when they are released in the Classics. And isn't classics Lion O coming with a small Sword of Omen as well as the full length one? Or was that just for the new line?

After the main cast (good and bad), my #1 is Pumm-Ra, followed by Lynx-O. Beyond that, everything else is gravy.

I haven't messed with any of the MOTU figures loose but I was looking at alot of them recently at the Heroes Convention. I really love how those figures have been done. I'd LOVE for the 'Cats to be done in the same fashion.

I want a killer looking Grune the Destroyer...

All the main Thundercats including Jaga, both versions of Mumm-ra, all of the mutants and Grune the Destroyer (Best cameo character). Those guys are essential. Anything else would be a bonus. I quite liked Mongor and Captain Shiner too so if they were made I would be very impressed.

A new Cheetara Classics :)

Speaking of Cheetara, I'll be surprised if she isn't one of the figures in the second wave. Should be interesting to see how she turns out. If Lion-O and Tygra are anything to go by, she should turn out great. Though I'll probably feel a little awkward buying her, lol.
