Rare Thundercats, and variants.
 

I'm trying to comprise a list of rare Thundercats (2011) 4", 6", 8", 4" deluxe, and vehicles etc. from what I know, and please feel free to add comments and corrections.

4" deluxe grune
4" deluxe grune variant (Thundercats logo)
4" Claudia
4" deluxe slithe
4" deluxe panthro
6" tygra
tiger flyer vehicle
mumm-ra storm chaser vehicle

if they're are others please post. if some of these aren't rare, and don't belong here, please comment. thanks. goal is to get an accurate list or rares and variants.

My Target still has the 4" deluxe Grune. He's not rare, at least not in my area. The ThunderCats logo variant is very rare though.

4" Claudus doesn't seem rare to me either since I've bought a total of 5 now off the shelf at local stores. 1 for me to open, 1 for me to keep MOC, and 3 so far for other members here.

All ThunderCats are gettin harder to find in general now though because stores are discontinuing them. Both Targets near me have clearance prices and tags, TRU is on clearance, and at least one Wal-Mart has sold out and isn't restocking after they had a clearance sale.

I narrowly stopped myself from buying the grune variant and deluxe slithe from ebay as both were in my watch list sunday night .... but i kicked myself up the ass and forced myself to let the auctions end because both were at extortionate prices with high shipping rates to UK. (the scary thing is that I was totally prepared to part with the money but luckily the little voice of reason in my head managed to scream loud enough this time) I have been known to pay way over the odds at times just because I want something badly, its a habit im trying to kick lol......... Anyone else ever payed waaaay over the odds for a figure in the heat od the moment???

I think they're is some kind of tygra 4", and 4" deluxe variants too, but not sure I understand which are the rare ones.

4" Tygra - short whip on non CN card.

There are 4" and deluxe Tygra variations. They either came with a short or long whip and the wave 2 4" Tygra has a different face. Neither of these variants are rare as far as I can tell.

so the 4" deluxes have a short, and a long whip, and the normal 4" in wave 2 has a new face. also there is a non deluxe 4" tygra with a short whip without the cartoon network logo. Do I have all that right? is that the end of all the tygra variants?

Anybody know when the Claudus wave started to hit retail?

And anybody seen any recent replenishment's in store shelves?

From what I remember wave 2 started showing up in January. My area didn't see them until late Feburary. They 2 stores in the entire county I live in only got 1 shipment each. 1 wal-mart got everything(except 6"Tygra&deluxe wave 2), while the other just got the 4" figures only. Only 1 storm charger was available in my area and I feel lucky to have found it. The stores never restocked any Thundercats since early 2012 and it was a very small amount of merchandise.

I'm just getting into the line, so I guess it's a waste of time trying to hit up Walmarts in search of anything from Wave 2. Oh well. Don't mind paying ebay prices.. just as long as it's not too much. 3 x retail is my max.

i have both wave 1 & 2 tygra but i don't see anything different w/their faces. the diff. is that the wave 2 tygra comes w/a trading card. can anyone post pics of the different faces?

There is a thread in the forums that has pictures of both versions. No figures in the US were released with Trading cards. Can you post a picture of that?
