I take that back. Now I think Bandai is just creating variations to sell more figures or possibly adressing some kind of safety issue.

It looks like Bandai is stoping production on the short whip and now packaging the whip from the Deluxe figure with the basic 4" figure.

Good eyes! I read this as I was walking through Wal-Mart and they had one of each on the pegs. I had to get'em. I also noticed that the cats symbol on the figures chest is different on each figure....
