Jelenic and crew will be forever be remembered as the man and crew that tainted the TCATS brand. Hopefully J.M. DeMatteis will remove some of the taint.

Since Lion-o loses to Spirit Tygra (guy can't catch a break), I'm going to guess that Lion-o's willingness to return to save the others, is what earns him a second chance at life.
