Yep, manga is in its final arc too it will end sometime in this year.

I believe Tite and Kishimoto had some problems with higher ups in Shounen Jump and decided to end their mangas prematurely.

BTW It would be cool if Lion-O had to fight with Tygra(and beat his somewhere appropriate[is it written that way?]) to reclaim his throne.
