I heard people who've watched the OS talk about how Cheetara was always very self-conscious about her sixth sense. I think it was her sixth sense that promoted her to follow Lion-O, but she was to afraid to admit to it. Though, she could have put her head down out of sadness.

Either way both Jagga asking her to follow him, makes more sense than her having a crush. That would be called stalking.

It could be a mix of both, following and crush.

Lion-o needed her to look him in the eyes. It looked like she just came up with an excuse. That made lion-o even more angry.

Now you got his look on his face in the AP after cheetara kissed him.
