This whole couple thing is still funny. For one Lion O had multiple female love interest in the original. Two of them were human though. But the series seemed to focus in on Cheetara which was a bad idea. Especially considering she is the only known adult female in their group. That was bound to cause a rift between fans in the series.

Though people seemed to be hung on the comic book hook up Cheetara and Tygra. For one to the main fans who just watched the show and not the comics it was always Lion O and Cheetara who seemed like a match. Add fuel to the fire they turned Tygra into a full blown douche that would even make Sasuke look good.
