If you look at the facts and data, it points to Lion-O/Cheetara as their master plan. If CN hadn't cut this to 13 EP per season with this long break and go as originally planned which is full 26 episodes Season 1, then this dramatic cliffhanger won't be that much of a problem to the viewers, should Lion-O/Cheetara is indeed their master plan. So CN is definetly the main culprit of the backlash here.
