It did to me about 28 years ago when i was 4 when i laid eyes on Cheetara and later Pumraya, afterall the original show is one of the origins of furry fandom. Heck, even at furry conventions some people put on fur-make up and dress up as Thundarian Cat People as fursonas as i do have a Thundarian fursona myself.
