The new snarf is cute, but you get a strong sense of the Japanese influence in his character now. Im betting the only reason he doesnt still spam his name is because he would essentially be a Pokemon these days. They had to differentiate him for the new generation of kids watching these days.

Although i have to say the dark fantastical overtones might be to much for kids today
