That's the question that pops into my head every time someone mentions it. A live action movie, if done well, would be awesome. But what are the chances that it would actually be done well?

The best argument for throwing money behind it is the Transformers movie franchise (which has been a cash cow). But that's the cartoon adaptation that's the exception rather than the rule. I'm thinking a high quality CGI flick would be more feasible, and likely more cost effective.

Thoughts?
