As for tygra i see the "darkness" as lion-o puts it turning to the bad guy because he was jealous of lion-o before cheetara came into the picture and he is still jealous of lion-o. MAYBE !!!

The crew said that the sword's forgers were Cougars, i believe. Not Cheetah's. And her eyes glowed because she was loyal to him completely, as in the OS.
