First time I saw them on an end cap tonight at a TRU. It was pretty well picked over, but I got the tank. Haven't opened it yet - a little worried after hearing the issues some are having with it.

AHAHAH...When I first saw the new line I was sure I would love the 6" figures the most...boy was I wrong! Keep checking Kmarts! That was the only place I found anything decent. Good Luck Robb |

Checked a TRU that was wiped clean of the deluxe figures and the rest of the 4" in figs, but at least I was able to pick up the Lizard Cannon. I think I may pick up the Thundertank this weekend if I can't find Deluxe Mumm-Ra or Grune.

I wanted to somewhat help everyone who is hunting for the figures: They are not going to be on the shelves at Target anytime soon. Two thoughts to support this theory: A) Target has already done there toy isle resets for the winter holiday season. There are not any spots for TCats. B) On Bandai's site, they only list TRU, WalMart, and KMart: Lion-O - ThunderCats
Now, I know that everyone is going to say, "but they have the Thundertank and Costumes on the Target website with DCPI numbers." True, but that is all they are going to have and they are only going to be online. So maybe after Xmas and the next Toy isle resets, these figures will be there, but I do not before then. Target will realize they made a mistake by not carrying this product. I am just making this post to save everyone some time and gas on trying to hit up Targets also. I hope this helps. |

I still think there might be a slim chance, as they've added toylines in after that reset before, the last example I can remember is Tron: Legacy last year, and I have a feeling they will reorganize or at least add to the Transformers section in a couple months when TF:Prime is released.

Thanks for the report, Lady Scarlett. At least we know that Walmart will be carrying the toys now. Just not in all areas yet.

Still nothing in Louisville, I even checked Philidephia and nothing, but I did a online search on Kmart in Columbus and they have them! But it's a far drive to go by myself and my parents won't come with me. They just do not understand the importance of me getting a Lion-O figure!
But it would make things easier if my Wal-Mart would just get them in already! |

As excited as I am for these figures, I'm still not sure what I'll get first. Since I'm more excited for the Classics figures, I'll probably get one of them first. Though I still might just get the DVD set they've currently got for $20 first (the first set from the original release on DVD), and then start getting some of the figures. |

Kmart in Southbury, CT has the 4" basics, the thundertank, and the 6" 2011 series figures. No classics or 4" deluxe figures.

A heads up for you all:
Walmart is FINALLY doing their fall resets this week (YMMV on your store's ability to get it DONE this week). So keep an eye out, if Walmart is going to carry the line in your area, the tags, if not actual product, should be out this week. If you don't see tags for the line by September, you can be sure your area will not be carrying the stuff. |

I finally received my Classic Figures from TRU.com Saturday and I just wanted to warn MOC collectors that they arrived all mangled. The figures are in their boxes but the cards are folded and busted. If you don't care about the packing then don't worry about it, otherwise it'll be aggravating. The figures are cool and highly poseable. My Lion-O has the flesh color ankle joints which is silly but other than that a little skin-color overspray on his mane is my only complaint. The Sword of Omens is really rubbery. Lion-O is currently in the Thundercats Ho pose and looks fantastic! Tygra looks better in person than in the photos. I also got the 6" Panthro and Lion-O. They are both cool but Panthro by far is the best! I cannot wait for the rest of the Classics and the new TCats!

Well, after dealing with multiple trips and hassles (some of it I could have avoided if I wasn't a toy addict, lol) I just broke down and ordered the figs I haven't found in stores, online.

Yea, I don't think they are all carrying them. I used to work at a Wal-Mart in toys, And I went there this weekend and they had their mod sheets up, no Thundercats were being added. Though again, this was a shitty Wal-Mart that really never had much to begin with.

I went back to Totowa, NJ TRU and found a few 4" still on the pegs. Only 1 Lion-o left and a bunch of Mumm-Ras. 6" Lion-O, Panthro and Mumm-Ra, Lizard and Racer Packs and Thundertanks were there too. I got a 4" Lion-o, Tygra and Panthro. All the others were gone.

I just opened them up and I just wanted to reassure people that Panthro's legs are separate, they are not molded together. He looks much better than the prototype photo although he is not nearly as big as he is in the cartoon (I guess he hadda fit in that teeny Thundertank toy). At this scale the details are much better than the 6" Collector figures which have some pretty bad paint ops and very little sculpted detail. I'm looking forward to getting the rest whenever I find 'em!

Just saw online that walmart.com is showing some Thundercats toys. Mind you, it's Showing the Tower of Omens as the Deluxe Sword Of Omens.....Walmart.com: Thundercats DX Sword of Omens: Action Figures
Perhaps all the Wal-Mart stores are just dragging their assess getting stuff out. |

Does anyone know when they are supposed to hit the shelves in Target? I know they recently popped up on their site and if you punch the DPCI #'s of the figures in those scanner stations they have in the aisles, they come up, but as "not in stock". Seems as if it's only a matter of time which brings me back to my original question. When?

If that's the case....laaaaaaaammmmmmmeeeeee! Damn, and I got all excited when their system recognized the DPCI # I punched in as belonging to the 8" Classics figures which, truly, is all I want. Yep, though, it's like you said..."we'll just have to wait and see."

Have any of your stores restocked yet? One of my local Wal-marts and my Toysrus stocked the entire line, including the Tower of Omens, about two weeks ago. The whole line in almost completely sold out at both stores. I'm wondering how long it will take them to restock, 'cause I still need Cheetara and Grune.

One of our three Wal-Marts in Salem, Oregon has ThunderCats toys in stock now! A good supply too! I picked up the Tower of Omens and the Lizard Canon today. Now, a Wal-Mart and the Salem Toys R Us carry them! Should make things much easier to find. The figures are all cheaper at Wal-Mart, but the vehicles and the playset have the same price at both Wal-Mart and Toys R Us.
Here are a couple photos of the Wal-Mart display. |

Target.com has restocked on the 8" classics including Lion-O. They also have the Dlx Sword of Omens, Thundertank, Panthro and Mumm-ra, among others. If you're in search, check 'em out before it's too late.
