Working on my full sized sword of omens. It's taken a ton of time with a lot of trial and error I ended up using 2 separate sword and combined them together. Used bondo to make the blade a tad wider and 2 small mirrors will sit in as the eye. After a little but more bondo and some resin I will paint it Here's a comparison pic to the original rubies sword and mine

Here's a couple photo of my progress. Built op the entire area around the eye with bondo. I'm very happy with how it's coming along. With the spare parts I'm making the dagger form as well!!!!

Am jealous of people who can do this kind of thing. I'd love to have my own totally accurate Sword of Omens props. Both the dagger version and full length sword.

Do you want a replica prop(plastic/toy) or a full on replica (metal) I have another dagger that I am thinking about selling. And also thinking about making a mold of the sword to make copies if anyone is interested

How much would prices be for each? Plastic, metal, dagger, sword...
I doubt I could afford any til I'm done training and found myself full time employment but it would be nice to get an idea of how much to put aside. At the moment I'm trying to resist spending too much on buying up vintage ThunderCat toys but it's so difficult... the urge is too strong. |

I'm looking to sell my custom (metal) sword of omens in dagger form. It's on te forums here as 1:1 replica. It looks cool an I love it just won't match well when it's on display with this stuff. Labor and parts I'd be looking to get $200 for it but that is negotiable. I'd also be willing to make any trades for it. Other than that I wouldn't know a price yet on the these swords. I don't know how much the mold kit would be for something this big more do I know how much resin I would need to fill it. After that I'd obviously have to paint it. If you are in the market for a cool custom of any kind message me sometime. I love working on stuff like this wether it be restoring old toys or customizing.

After months of working and fine tuning, my custom is finally finished. I added the "one ring" to the handle cause its awesome. Also made it more of a custom(my sword not lion-o's). Plus what weapon could stop the ring of power and the sword of omens?

This is prior to the finishing touches, next to the nearly completed dagger.

Thanks man. That means a lot, especially knowing how well yours came out. I was oringinal my thinking about doing what you did with yours. I just can't get over how long that metal sword is I have the means to cut it down. But I've heard working with the electronics in that sword is a pain.

Yeah. The blade on the metal replica is not exactly accurate and the electronics are junk. I almost successfully rewired mine, but it's such a small space to work with and the switch being glued in place just made it really cheap feeling, so I just left it as a sword with out lights. You have a lot of talent my friend. Both your swords are truely awesome.
