Anyone else notice that Mumm-Ra has two different crests? You can see this on the toys, where the smaller winged Mumm-Ra's snakes don't have an open loop at the bottom, but the larger one does, as does the Grune figure. While I initially thought this was a paint issue due to figure size, I noticed that in the "Legacy" episode, Mumm-Ra's snakes don't have an open loop at the bottom.
Has anyone else caught this, or have any thoughts on what it means? I wonder if it's the difference between past-present or winged-nonwinged, but I don't have any episodes handy to check. |

I think it was like that in the show just to make it easier to animate. When you see it close up when the armor is forming you can see the bottom of the snakes are open.
