Today I heard a kid at tru tell his father he wants a big sword of thundera. My first instinct was to tell his father to teach his son to respect the sword of omens and all other thundercat properties by using the correct names for them. Then I was just happy kids were into buying the toys so the series will keep airing.

Well my daughter calls it the "Fundercats" but it sounds so cute I don't want to correct her. I'm just glad it's something we can share together.

not as big of deal to me..as long as the kid even knows what the hell it is even if he doesnt get the name right. My kids will grow up knowing He-Man, Thundercats, Smurfs, Garfield, Fat Albert, etc....all of the stuff I watched as a kid. even if they dont like it, they will have a broader knowledge base for classic cartoons.

So I just found out about the new series.

Me and the kids sat down to watch it online... and I found myself wanting to put on the original series just so they could understand all the significance of the new series!

I don't feel so alone here.
