The Maroon haired Lion-o is the rarest. There are at least 3 versions of red hair lion-o. 1 painted hair, 1 molded hair, and the 2nd series lion-o with differnt paint apps on the face. The absolute rarest Lion-o is the Thunderwings version.

Maroon hair?...sheez. Guess i'm a Maroon cause I didn't know about him... nor painted hair or molded hair...nor diff. face paint. New about the Twings though...
so let's say to have a Red hair or orange hair on the same card...which would you want? ... and we'll say the red hair fig is the same as the orange be it molded or painted? and where do i learn this stuff? |

The orange hair was the 1st Lion-o figure, so I guess he would be more valuable. You can take a look at my collection in the forums. I have all the Lion-o's(except Thunderwings) loose. the one in front of cat's lair is the painted red hair. The best archive for theses figures LJN (1985-1989)

Just took a look at your collection and I have to say it is very impressive. Thankfully my wife is very supportive of my humble collection as well. It makes it allot easier and enjoyable to collect! My daughter (almost 2) even gets excited when I get new figures!
