In the original 80's series, was Lion-o's gauntlet furry, or just sculpted to look like a paw? I always assumed it was metal, but J just saw a cosplayer with a furry one, and the hallmark ornament sort of looks furry, foo.

I always assumed it was metal shaped like fur. Otherwise, how could it be shiny enough to create a reflection?

That's a good point. I also think it was metal with fur detailing. Like the original LJN Lion-o figure claw shield.

I always thought it was some kind off metal because as stated earlier reflections can be seen in it and he uses it to block things like shield

General consensus seems to be metal shaped like fur,which is what I always assumed it was,till I saw that guy.
