Use this thread to post what you find, and where! Let your fellow collectors know what's up. Minor local discussion is ok, but try to keep it focused on the toys and finding them locally.

Toys R Us in Salem has the 14" Lion-O in stock as of today! I picked up 1 of the 6 that they had in stock. $24.99.
The guy looked in his computer and said that the rest of the line of ThunderCats toys should be on the shelf on Tuesday, August 9th. I'll report back Tuesday morning and hopefully be posting a pic of my haul =o) |

Kmart in Beaverton has the 4 inch Basic figures, 6 inch figures and the Thunder Tank.
The 4 inch figures look better detailed than the 6 inch figures. |

K-Mart in Salem is still empty. But, they had a lot of clearance and looking like stuff was moving out. Good deals on Tron and Iron Man toys. Hopefully this means ThunderCats will be on their way in soon!
TRU is doing a deal right now where if you spend $20 on boys action figures, you get a free $7 Kung Zu ZuZu Hamster. I got one when I got the 14" Lion-O and I'm hoping the deal is still good next week when they get the rest of the 4", 6", and 8" figures in. Break up the purchases into $20 ones and bring home some ZuZu pets for the kids =o) They'll be thrilled! |

Nope, they don't have any shelf/peg listings for the 8" figures, the only other things they look like they'll be getting in is the 6" deluxe figures and the Sword of Omens. I work nearby so I check Kmart frequently and I'll update if I find anything.

Thanks! I'll be going to K-Mart and TRU here in Salem every day or every other day and I'll report back here if I find out anything new. Thanks for your help, Rotting Anjel! =o)

Went to Toys R Us in Salem this morning and they had almost everything in stock! They had at least one of everything and multiple of most. I got as much as my budget could afford. Here are pics:

Thought I'd post pictures of my haul =o) I got two of the 4" Lion-O figures because my daughter wanted one =o) I'm sure I'll find a Cheetara eventually. K-Mart should be getting them in anytime and I'm sure TRU will get more in stock =o)

Found some at the Jantzen Beach TRU. They were in the isle with the adult collectibles. They were very spread out tho. The 4 in. deluxe and vehicles were on one end sitting on a shelf, the sword of omens was around mid isle on a peg, and the basic 4in, 6in, thundertank, and 8in classics were on a shelf all the way down at the other end of the isle. The 4in basics were picked over (fortunatly I had gotten most of them at kmart already), but they had all the deluxes and vehicles and 1 of each of the 6in line.

Salem Wal[-Mart has nothing. Went to the Salem Toys R Us on Lancaster 2 weeks ago and only found Lion-O and Tigra. I want the rest of the 4 inch cats.

Go today! Toys R Us on Lancaster! I just picked up a Cheetara... the last 4" I needed. They have Lion-O, Tigra, WilyKit, WilyKat, and Mumm-Ra. I got the last Cheetara and they didn't have any of Panthro. They had all the 6" and both 8" classics though. All the deluxe 6" figures, most of the vehicles, and the Tower of Omens... I'd never seen that before...

Thanks for the tip, my wife picked up Wilykit and Wilykat. But of course no Panthro or Cheetara.

Wal-Mart in Salem on Turner Road off Hwy 22 has almost everything in stock as of today. I bought their last Lizard Canon and one of their Tower of Omens, but they had a ton of 4" figures. No Cheetara or Wilykit/kat, but all the others. They had all the 6" figures and both of the 8" classics. They had the Tower, the Thundertank, and both the Thunderracers too. They had a few deluxe swords too. The only thing I didn't see was 4" Deluxe figures.
Here are pictures of the display. Not a bad display! Only Wal-Mart in Salem that has them, I believe. And, the only place in Salem besides TRU that has them. 4" and 8" figures are cheaper at Wal-Mart too. Bill Last edited by englishw; 08-28-2011 at 10:30 PM.. |

In Portland, at the Clackamas Town Center, there's and FYE store that sells some posters in the back. For both the 80's and 2011 incarnation.
Bought my 80's version there. I didn't take a very good look at it, but I also noticed a rather large 80's Lion-O figure there. It looked more like a statue so not poseable but I could be wrong. I'll have to take a second look. |

Has anyone in Oregon found the 6" Cheetara yet? Armor of Omens? Trading cards? Mum-Ra's tank?

I work at a Grocery Outlet in Tigard, OR. We got a bunch of figures in last week.
Here's a post I made in Toys: http://www.thundercats.ws/thundercat...-outlet-28141/ I bought out my store for the most part. But i think the toys were forced, so every GO should have them. |
