I've now tried 4 different TRUs & 2 Targets, both multiple times since last Thursday. There is not even an area for them yet.
I can't believe these hit the east coast yet... -Zoid Last edited by propazoid; 08-01-2011 at 03:49 PM.. |

ToysRus get new shipments on Tuesday and Thursday in AZ. I am going to hit them up tomorrow. Does anyone know what is coming out in the first wave?

In due time I'll find them all. No need to pay scalper prices.

It's the same thing that scalper "toy stores" have been doing for the past week on Amazon.com. Buying the figures when they're available and then selling them for jacked up prices back through the Amazon Marketplace. Really despicable.

Waiting is what makes toys such a remarkably fun hobby. Ill wait aslong as needed, at least our stores are getting them, unlike some european countries. If I get them in hand by Friday ill be surrounded by figures and eating a bowl of cereal. Keeping the 80's fanboy tradition alive. Thundercats Hoooooooooo.

What is everyone planning on doing with their figs as soon as they get them? Keep them MOC and on display or open them up?

No sighting in Arizona yet, however i did communicate with a few employees from various Walmarts here in Phoenix Arizona and all are telling me similar stories.
They will be clearing some space towards the end of Augest and Thundercats Product will be coming in to fill them. |

Hey,
If you're not opposed to buying online you could go here: BigBadToyStore.com Search They have good deals and seem to have a very large selection. Nice thing, no waiting in lines and no getting to the store and being disappointed that they are all out of what you want. In most cases you can back order if they are out of stock. I do however know some ToyRus will let you buy and order things by the case. I would look into that as well. I may well do that as I want to get two of each of the figs. One for MIB collecting and one for taking out and well playing with. Been a fan since I was like 9 and I totally am stoked about getting all the figures. I didn't have them when I was younger and I totally don't want to miss out this time around. As for snarf, OMG Kawaii! I seriously hope the toy manufactures put out a plush! Oh and it would be awesome if they had a sound chip and can make those all too cute sounds he makes. I would totally buy 1 or two if they did! And I think it would have been better if they had packed snarf with Lion-o, or at least a little scale version with him. I know several people that want Snarf and not the tank. They could always put out a little pose-able snarf by himself too. I think they should have little snarfs in different poses in little figures. I know I'd buy em if there were a few. He's so dang cute! Especially when he's sleeping. So I wonder if any of the fast food chains are planning on putting out a line.... |

Would be cool, but most cartoons don't get fast food promotions. If they do get one sometime, I'll be trying to get the whole set at least once, if not twice (one set to fiddle with, and the other set to keep nice...). |

This is odd. When searching for Thundercats at TRU.com it only brings up the Thundertank now.

Are you insane???? I waited over a year for the Droid Gunship, never knowing from month to month if it was going to be canceled or not. Watching BBTS & EntertainmentEarth constantly pushing the release date back while other toys that were supposed to come after it were released before it. I've been waiting for Sci-Fi from GI Joe since the 25th line & he's still not out yet. Don't know if he'll be released or canceled or put into a 7-pack or made an exclusive. WAITING SUCKS!!!

Just a quick note on your hunt for the classic thundercats at the retail stores, a case only contains 4 figures total, 2 lion o, 2 tygra, I don't know how many cases the retail stores will get, but if there is only 4 in a case, I guess you got to time it perfectly, Oh btw, it's worth the hunt, these figures are excellent. I own 2 lion-os and a tygra, and I have 2 SDCC lion-os, trust me the pictures of the SDCC don't do it justice, it looks better in your hands.

2 Lion-O's and 2 SDCC Lion-O's?? SCALPER!!!
Just kidding :P I can't wait until my order from Amazon comes tomorrow...although I only have the Classics Tigra & the 6" Lion-O coming as the other figures I wanted were not in stock (well...stocked by Amazon that is). I never had Thundercat toys as a kid, but always wanted them. So this is perfect for filling that void! |
