If I were to buy myself, would it be considered prostitution, slavery, or pet adoption? |

Looks really good, but I want to see what the 6 inch figure looks like so I can have this line in scale with DCUC, MOTUC and Marvel Legends.

I've been rewatching the old cartoon. 8 inches may actually be proper scale against humans. Lion-O and the others seem to be consistantly a full head taller and more then the warrior maidens and other humans I've seen so far.

Oh wow. I just made a statement in another thread where I said I wasn't liking the idea of the classics line being 8 inches tall. If they are going to look this good I don't mind one bit. Wow!!!!!

This guy looks great. I'm glad they are doing the Classics line in the 8 inch scale as they will look great next to my MOTUC figures.

This looks fantastic - I was really worried when I heard "Bandai", but this figure looks great. Wonder what the packaging will be like. Can't wait to see Tygra now.

Even though he's missing his eyebrows I can't wait to see the rest. So far the only other character that was mentioned for these 8-inch figures was Tygra, but I hope that they make all of the major characters. Especially if they are going to look this good!

This is one of the those things where you've waited so long to get a classic line of Thundercats figures and the company understands what is needed to please the "80's" kids like ourselves. Great likeness, great articulation, great paint apps, great sculpt and details, great accessory's. And I'm sure when we see pics, great packaging. And they completely nailed it!! When I heard that Bandai was doing classic figures, I really thought they were gonna drop the ball. But it's far from it. So with that said, I'm collecting the shit out of these! hahah

This is a must for me. I was thinking of getting the classic figures and keeping it in the package and then buying the newer 4 inch figures and opening those for the toon. That way the kids can play with them too.

Hopefully, Lion-O will come with a smaller Sword of Omens to fit into the Claw Shield. I actually hope they do a 4" classics line as well

Same here! Usually thigh swivels break the sculpt, for example, the 1st Toy Biz Marvel Legends, and the DCUC figures. Yet what Bandai did...that's innovative to me.

Between Lion-O, and Tygra, the Classics line looks like it will be perfect. Hopefully, the line will be successful enough to ensure the production of all the Thundercats characters.
If the other figures in the line look like Tygra and Lion-O, I'll be more than happy to purchase them all! |

Already mentioned this on Toyark, but he looks great and I'm really looking forward to all the new toy merch coming our way for Thundercats. It's been a long time coming with this brand to get the same treatment as their fellow 80's properties.
All of the above. |

Also said the bases were scrapped but the way they had Lion-O and Tygra standing, they seemed to have a great center of balance and won't need that stuff. I don't want them posed standing at attention anyway. And I think the rep also said 18 points of articulation? And they look this good? Bandai really came dressed to impress at this party. |

In the pics you can see the small blade at his feet. In the video walkthroughs (of which there are many now), the representative mentions this. What's not oft mentioned is that the claw shield works by interchanging with the left hand. The left hand pops out and the claw shield pops on. When not on the hand, it fits on the bit we've seen hanging off his belt and the dagger form of the Sword of Omens fits into the clawl. |
