I agree. That is one of the most memorable episodes from my childhood. There was just something about Lion-O facing off against himself that I was an awe of as a child.

Hi everyone

I emailed tan at falcon hanger about this figure and her is what I got-

1-i asked if there were any error red liono's---As far as I am aware, there wasn't any error figures that was shipped to us.

2-aked about quantity----I am not at liberty to reveal the production run, but it is a fraction of a normal production run, and a single major retailer in USA would probably sell out this quantity on his own.

So who knows how many were produced!

Why would you ask about figures with or that had errors?

It wasnt exactly hard to get this figure in a persons collection. TFH have plenty left after the convention. East Asia isnt big on Thundercats, the west is their biggest market

And how safe they pack them. I had figures sent from China that we're just wrapped in brown paper and then had a criss cross of parcel string tied around

Guys,
Received the exclusive today Singapore to the UK, forget any doubts over whether you need this figure in your lives, YOU DO! Falcons Hangar/Bandai Asia have done a brilliant job, figure is excellent and box art really stands out NOT like the normal Classic packaging, the cost is the cost it's an exclusive and won't be warming pegs in the US or UK.

When i paid the PayPal invoice a guy called Tan at the falcons hangar emailed me three days later regards shipping, going off what he said they wait until they have a batch of sales and send them in one hit, email the Hangar via their website if your worried they are really helpful.

I'd love to have one, but at that price they can keep it. I'm much more interested in the possible 8" Cheetara figure Bandia hinted at earlier in the year.

Yeah I would think if Cheetara was far enough to be produced it would have been available at comiccon like they intended. I assume cheetara and the 6" twins will be like the mad bubbler and red eye in the vintage line. Never produced but maybe some prototypes exist.

I second that I mean 35 would had been great, hell 48 was not a bad price. If you really want one you should bite the bullet or sit and wait. You might get lucky but I dont see it selling on bbts for 50 or more even on clearance

Received these today.

I am super excited as I have not gottem any new Thundercats figures in a while.

Seriously-if you are on the fence, this is a GREAT figure.

Package is great and the figure looks like a normal release.

It comes with a red stand and an EXTRA large and small Sword of Omens in chrome much like the SDCC exclusive Lion-o.

convinced a family member to pre-order me one from bbts for x-mas
something about this figure really got my attention for some reason.
on the surface i get its just a re-paint but i already have the comiccon edition, retail edition, and now i really want this one to complete the set.

side note: i was able to get 2 comiccon edition figs from toys r us during their buy one get one offer

You won't regret it, totally different packaging and its not a total repaint they have used red plastic in the mould for the torso, this figure was dismissed way too much when first announced.
