Thundercats Ep 13 - Between Brothers Discussion

If we're bringing up star wars always it seemed (to me) that the first one was establishing Luke and Leia as a couple (they even kissed) and then they switched it up in the next two with her going to Han and then saying Luke and Leia were brother and sister (trying not to mention the whole "brothers and sisters don't act like that" argument lol).

Just bringing this up to say writers aren't infallible. And that things that might seem to be happening might not actually be what is happening.

I agree that it seemed like Lion-O and Cheetara were being established. But I've also passed messages back and forth with some of the crew, and although they haven't given me any spoilers I can say without a doubt in my mind that they relish being able to do what the fans aren't expecting. They love being cryptic and love surprising everyone. I honestly think they had those Lion-O/Cheetara "moments" in the show as a red herring. Of course I could be wrong. We can't know yet. But all I've tried to do this whole time is to get everyone to look at things from a different angle than how they're looking at it.

These are seasoned writers. I don't think they would do that. They had no problems saying lion-o like cheetara, so why not say it for cheetara liking tygra?

It sounds like what they did in JL E13, is the samething they did here. This was posted earlier.

That is fine to look at a different angle, I think we are all trying due to E14 is in limbo.

Think about it this way. Tygra fans think cheetara picked tygra, why wouldn't the crew release this. Why keep it quiet.

It's an animated show. Animation takes more time than Live Action. It's only been a little more than a month since the season ended. I don't think it's been so long that we should start worrying or being upset.

Season won't end until E26 and I thought they were done with it.

As I've mentioned before, the crew hasn't really answered anything since episode 13. The blog hasn't been updated at all since right after Thanksgiving.

You can't claim their silence about one thing is evidence when they've been silent about everything else as well.

When I asked back in november they said they were still working on the second half. They're done with the recording and the writing, but they're not done with the animation.

She never asked about cheetara liking lion-o.

When she said she asked about lion-o, I asked her to ask them if cheetara love tygra. To me that would explain E13.

anyway my point is sometime after thanksgiving they just stopped answering questions altogether. It's not necessarily that they're evading that particular question because I've asked questions that were completely unrelated to the triangle that haven't been answered either.

Honestly I wish they would start the blog back up to clear up some confusion.

Does not matter whether or not she likes Tygra, important thing Lion-O's feelings for her are real and cheetara will not ignore him as with the highest good and not stirring up the pot.

This is one of the things I just have to disagree on. Without even getting into the whole "who did she choose" argument. When you say this it makes it sound (to me) that you think Cheetara should sacrifice everything, even her own possible happiness, just to make Lion-O happy.

Now she is a Cleric. And she'll sacrifice her life to protect his life. But I don't think it's in any way her duty to sacrifice her personal feelings just for the sake of not upsetting him.

I think tygra is ready to move on.

yeah after the cheek kiss of bats/wondy,
suddenly in Ep 25 of JL trevor came to the rescue and kissed ww like a 'thank you kiss' too on the lip, then at the end of Ep 26 it was resolved. The only difference is ww only knew the adult trevor so not a real triangle but can be considered a triangle too as ww is already starting to go for bats mode.

Just brainstorming I haven't figured out all the details yet I'm afraid. Maybe the using the stone in conjunction with his mind powers,could let him sense the locations of the others?

That would be good, but as Balgus82 said, how would he find the stones.

He needs something to help him find them.

I just want lion-o to get the green stone first.
