Now this is puzzling. A McDonalds Happy Meal Toy marked 2013.

After an exhaustive search I cannot find anything else about this mystery Mumm-ra online. Best guess is that it's a foreign release.

Online auction. Seller didn't know how they obtained. Didn't come with wrapper.

Watch this site over time to see if any info ever pops up. They cover worldwide McDonalds and BK releases, so if a line of McDonalds Thundercats toys is released outside of the United States, they will cover it here.

I got nowhere with McDonalds. Just kept referring me to generic overseas e-mail address. I've previously reached out to the Mcd site and they have not seen or heard anything either. I have also talked to the official McDonald's collectors club. Nothing. The mystery continues....

This figure is either a prototype or extremely early leaked piece. Item was sold from Lockport Illinois which is 30 miles outside of McDonald's headquarters in Oakbrook.

Mystery solved!

Pretty sure my Mumm-ra was from the McDonalds corporate office. The auction location was 20 miles away from headquarters. Seller bought bag full of toys at local Goodwill type store. Corporate probably donated toys once approved.

ThunderCats will be available in Brazil Happy Meals this June.

SUPER! MC LANCHE FELIZ : MCLANCHE FELIZ (JUNHO\2013) : THUNDERCATS E HELLO KITTY, FOTOS

Commercial

Filme Mc Lanche Feliz Thundercats e Hello Kitty - YouTube

Each figure has it's own action:
Lion-o - Squeeze legs for Sword of Omens action

Panthro - Press button on back to activate spinning nunchucks

Tygra - Rotate arm and press button on back to spin whip

Mumm-Ra - Add or remove wings or use spring loaded fist action

Is it just me or are the toys cool? its been 15 yrs since my last happy meal so it could just be nostalgia. This is interesting. The fact that ThunderCats has such a global appeal might lead to more (or some) domestic success. I'm not throwing in the towel on this franchise just yet. I love Latin counties.
