I have not heard or seen anything about new Classics figures. Anyone have any news?

i think someone on this board previously came back with the information "dont expect any until 2012"
they probably wanted to gauge how well the figures would sell before setting up the next wave for release. we've heard nothing but good news about sales so I'm sure they're gearing up for more but we might be seeing a delay because they were testing the waters before getting the next set of figures ready.

From what I heard, we're essentially getting two Classics a year unless sales are through the roof for em.

Actually, we're getting two waves a year, which means four per year. Though that doesn't start till next year.

Also, assuming the BBTS listings don't have any typos, we'll be getting some 6" scaled Classics sometime next month.

Yeah I really can't wait to see if they made any improvements on the 6" versions.

Not next month. Early 2012. Unless there is a typo, the Classics will be downsized to 6". I'm not very happy about that. It's not cool to release 2 figures at 8" and give up so quickly. Please Bandai, say it ain't so!

Word is it'll be a parallel line with the 6 and 8 inch Classics at the same time.

The six inchers are "Estimated to Arrive November 2011" and BBTS is always spot on unless there's a problem beyond their control.

I'm not very happy about the 8" line being downsized... That would suck!

I thought I read somewhere that the new 6" classics will be available before the end of the year...unless something has changed since the initial announcement. :]

According to BBTs, the 6" Classics and other "Wave 2" figures up for pre-order on their site should be available sometime this month.

I wish this weren´t true; I am really reluctant to buying the 6" figures, what if they pull again the same stupid trick?!

I thought 6'' was gonna be the new size since a certain Wal-Mart near me has the 8'' for half the price.
