I personally love these models even though they are huge .
I have both versions of liono and have pre ordered a mumm-ra and panthro.
Is anyone else hooked on these ? I emailed to enquire whether they would be doing an sdcc version of mumm-ra and Panthro and they responded to me with the following....

"thankyou so much for your praise regarding our thundercat figures, It's nice to know that fans appreciate what we are doing and are enjoying the results we have achieved.

Unfortunately we cannot officially disclose any info at the moment regarding possible exclusive variants ..... However "a certain ever living source of evil who is posessed by ancient spirits may be making an appearance" ;-)

Yeah I was tempted ....theres 2 sellers online but the shipping to uk would kill me so I'll just have to wait til june when my pre orders are in at forbidden planet uk.

No point paying an extra 20 quid when I can just have it at regular retail price a month later lol

Got him today!!! AMAZING!!!! The LEGS are TOO LONG TO FIT IN THE BOX! And must be assembled onto his knees... Which is A GOOD THING! He is bigger than Lion-O just enough to be SCARY! Cloth cape SEWN dark inside, red outside. You have to arrange the bandages yourself, which is fun! And the head-dress bandages and back scarf are cloth! Amazing paint! AND STURDY!

Only problem: The cape attaches well to the back, but the wrists don't seem to stay on too well... But when displayed, you cant tell! I MAY just put a string on there to tie them down though.

I PRAY they can make a whole line while they have the license... A shelf full of 14" tall Thundercats would be a dream come true!

One-Piece Decrepit Mumm-ra for SDCC and August we get that AMAZING Panthro!!!! If Cheetara is NEXT, I think I may just pee myself!

Awesome! I'm impatiently waiting for mine to arrive from the states.

I can see Mezco producing a line up of the core characters as the figures aren't expensive.

I was under the impression that Panthro was being released in July as that what's stated in the forbidden planet uk website?

Something else I'd love to see is minichamps or rc2 joyride producing a 1:18 scale thundertank in high detail ..... These companies (particularly joyride) have made some great movie/cartoon cars like the ghostbuster caddy, batmobile and dukes of hazzard general lee etc etc ..... I hope someone makes it soon as a high detail thundertank would just kick some serious ass

Just ordered my 2nd mumm-ra figure to keep in packaging for $20.00 from amazon.com with shipping it came to about £25gpb. Much cheaper than even buying it here in the UK.

I still have yet to open my Lion-O...... the artwork is actually too nice!! Mezco really doesnt screw around and they should have had the full licence for everything "Classic". Do you realize we'll have more mezco classics then Bandai!?!? THE OFFICIAL TOY LICENCERS!!! lol

My girl friend works at FYE and they are putting the Mezco Mumm-ra's out today for $30 each. They only got 1 case that has 4 figures in it, so if youre still looking for one, check out your local FYE.

I recently took the plunge with this line. Both my Lion-O and Mumm-ra should arrive soon. Can' t wait! And Panthro...once released...will follow.

Now, if Mezco can only carry this line through to the end without changing scale like some other toy manufacturers I'll be a happy camper! Here's to hoping.

I just received my Mumm-ra the Everliving, and he really is just amazing! Can't wait for Panthro either. These guys are really my favorite Classics items out there right now (since chances for more 8inchers from Bandai are slim and the Hard Hero statues are done). I'm really looking forward to hearing and seeing more concerning the Mummy Mumm-ra exclusive too. Wonder if he'll come with a Ma-mutt? I just broke down and bought the SDCC Lion-O from last year with the interchangeable heads. Still waiting for it to arrive. In this line, ultimately, this is what I'd like to see:

Must Have:
Tygra
Cheetara
*Please someone finish the team!!!!

Would be also be very nice:
Slithe
Monkian
Jackalman
Kit and Kat 2 pack
Ma-mutt and Snarf 2 pack

Now I'm just dreaming:
Lynx-O
Pumyra
Ben-Gali
Jaga (maybe with old and young interchangeable heads)

Really hope these are doing well and we see more!

wes
