Stuff is looking great. I'm sold on the Classics line already. I'm really curious to see the 6" figures still. I'm curious if they will flow well with other 6" lines.

Classics Tygra is straight up awesome. As is classics Lion-O. The 2011 figures are not too shabby either. The Thunder Tank is fantastic. Love the Snarf peeking out.

Glad that it's confirmed that Cheetara is 4 inch, not the classics. There was a bit of confusion floating around there for a bit.
Digging the "4 inch" Panthro too. |

I wonder how long we will be waiting to see a Classics Panthro. I doubt we will see it at Toyfair since its not even part of the first wave.

I kind of hope Bandai has plans to expand the 8" scale beyond Thundercats...like maybe Classic MMPR figures in that scale with that format of articulation.
Might pick up Lion-O and the eventual Classics Mum-ra. The 4" figures don't look bad. |

Now if we're lucky, Tamashii(Bandai Japan's collectors' division), will be itching to make SH Figurarts Thundercats, and if that happens, collectors will go ape shit and preorder the fuck out of them. Helps that they're 6" scale IIRC. I dig how the 4" figures have magnet activated features. Clever, and does not take up space unlike electronic and spring activated gimmicks! UNCOMPROMISED ARTICULATION FOR THE FUCKING WIN! |

I am very impressed with with Tygra. I have no doubt the whole classics line is going to be awesome. I wonder if they'll do vehicles and playsets to go with them?

I can't wait to see more of the classics figures. The price seems in line with the DC Classics line so it seems pretty reasonable and less than the MOTUC on the Matty website.

Really glad people are digging the Classics figures. I think the line is going to be fantastic. I just hope it sells well enough to keep it going for awhile.

I think Snarf peeking out of the Thundertank has me sold on that now. It's exactly how I'd want to display it.
More of a 4" collector than anything else, but I do find the Classics figures to be really tempting. The original cast wasn't huge so I think I'll have to go up my collecting scale since the full team wouldn't take up all that much room and they look great so far. |

Hmm. I hate to be "that guy" but, I don't know about these figures. I always reserve full judgement until I have one in hand, but I think these figs are looking a bit dated. Who does a balled neck-joint that starts in the shoulders anymore? And what's up with the (bad) vintage styled musculature? Comparing these figs to other "Classics" styled figs we have today, I'm not that impressed.
Like everyone else, I'm excited that we're getting new 'Cats toys, but we shouldn't call just anything they throw at us "awesome". Not yet, anyway. |

the lion-o really does look fantastic, if not just for his glove lol. i will say this, i have a bunch of ultimate muscles from 02 or so, and they wont fit with heman. so if they stay like this they get their own shelf. i dont think they will mind

Is it just me or does both Lion-Os' swords seem oddly long for one-handed blades?
