Has anyone seen a Slithe out there yet? I wonder why everything else has come out except for these?

Personally, the only wave two stuff I've seen at retail so far has been the Classics, Armor of Omens, Deluxe claw shield, and the Tyger Flyer. I haven't yet seen any of the basic figures, deluxe figures, the Stormcharger, or the basic nunchucks yet.

Though I did hear from a friend that the one Walmart has done it's major reset, or at least most of it, so they probably have put out the rest of the new stuff by now. I'll have to check tomorrow when I'm out shopping.

Yeah, I have all the Wave 2 4" figures that I found at Wal-Mart. (Except Slithe and Panthro Deluxe)

I got the last Slithe they had at Forbidden Planet in NYC on tuesday.

Slithe could have been awesome, but they really messed up on his shoulder articulation and it almost ruins the figure. His accessories could've been better too. Hopefully they get around to making him in the regular line with a normal weapon as his accessory at some point (not until after we get Monkian, Jackelman, Jaga and maybe an Elephant guy).

Is it at all possible to have Slithe's arms posed downward in a normal pose? or does the gimmick make that impossible? Also, does he have elbows like the one on display at Toy Fair had?

You can get some decent poses from him I guess. But not straight down to the side. His arms are jointed at the elbows and swivel joints in the forearms which save it from being a total disaster. Here is a pic...the arms can swing all the way in or out but not up and down.

While it's good to know that the production version retained the elbows, the way the shoulders are sucks. If I get a modern Slithe, I'll be waiting for the hopefully inevitable 6" or 4" Basic version of him. Hopefully they don't skip doing a version without the gimmick built-in.

Edit: Just remembered. I went to Target earlier today, and they had absolutely nothing Thundercats related in the toy section. Didn't even see a spot they could have belonged to either. This is the same Target that hasn't carried either one of the recent DVD sets for a good while now.

Never did get a chance to get out to Walmart tonight. I'm hoping to get out there to check out their stock sometime in the next week or so.

Thanks for posting Tommyx13, you just answered some questions I had about that figure. He's now gone from do not want to want. On a side note, I just moved from NY 3 years ago. It's great to hear Forbidden Planet is still there. That place kicked ass.

That's definitely a plus in his favor. Though definitely not a big enough plus to make it worth the horrible arms. Still...part of me wants to see a video review of him. The arms sound bad, but once I see them in motion I might not hate them so much, lol.

Found Wave 2 Deluxe Panthro and Slithe on Amazon! Sold by Entertainment Earth as set that also includes Deluxe Lion-o. You get Deluxe Panthro, Slithe, and Lion-o for $39.99. After the shipping cost it evens out to retail price+Tax. They only had 4 sets left when I placed my order, so I gues that leaves 3 remaining.

I still haven't seen anymore of wave 2 yet, and the Walmart that looks like it has completed it's reset, or at least most of it), has only the Armor of Omens and 6" Classics out of the wave 2 stuff out. Everything else on their shelves/pegs are wave 1 leftovers...

Wave 2 deluxe is sold out on amazon, but still in stock at entertainmentearth. They had 6" Tygra, but he's sold out. The hunt continues.

Already shelled out $70 to get 6 inch Tygra, cannot wait for the box to get here.

$70.00 Wow. You must really want that figure bad. I paid $15.00 for each Claudus (I have 2) and I have some regret now seeing that they are becoming available at outlets like amazon. TRU will be next. I think some people were lucky to get them way early and it made everyone jump the gun a bit. My gut says by next month, month and a half, Tiger Flyers, Stormchargers and Slithe's will be available everywhere.
I'd hold out for a bit if I were you unless you just have to have it now (which I get too and am guilty of myself).

I think, and now I'm not sure because I've been to every stinking wal-mart in town, it was the north keystone wal-mart just north of broad ripple. There was 1 there a week ago. If it wasn't there, it was the wal-mart on georgetown.
