As with the regular edition, Sonicron Black Version comes with multiple weapons and two heads - a Generation 1 styled one, and a War for Cybertron inspired one. This leaves it in your hands if you want Sonicron to be a straight out recolor on your shelves, or a version with an alternate loadout of weapons and a different head - a very nice touch.

To do that, Hasbro enlisted Industrial Light and Magic to reprise its role from the films to create the photorealistic 3D characters and visuals and for the ride, and hired Peter Cullen to voice Optimus Prime and other actors from the series.
