Looks good for an official site. Interested to see what their collectors area will be.

On the side of each toy box there's a TagReader bar code that you scan and it takes you to the side. Maybe once properly active it will take you to each character.

The lion-o background of the site is beautifully drawn. One of the nicer official sites I've seen in awhile.

Looks really nice. Should be interesting to see how the other parts of it turn out. Most especially the "Collectors" section.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the other art. I'm hoping all of the character artwork will become available to us at some point.

The site has been updated, it's a lot more complete.

Ravenxl7 07-20-2011 09:21 PM

I was wondering when they would update it. Though I honestly wasn't expecting them to do so till the day of the show's premiere. Haven't gone through all of the additions, but what I have has been nice. Especially the new pages for the other figures. Looks like the Deluxe Mumm-Ra's gauntlet has a magnet in it to activate his wing gimmick.

I love all the new character art personally. Grune's looks great, and i obviously love the twins.

Yeah, the character art is really good.

Looking through the figure pages, I've noticed that the Deluxe figures of both Lion-O and Tygra are different from their normal versions, which explains their gimmicks. While I'd like to have one of those stands, the figures they come with don't interest me (I'd rather have normal articulation than the gimmick in this case). Though the Deluxe Mumm-Ra and Grune still interest me. Still not a fan of the holes in Mumm-Ra's chest, but I'll at least get Grune.

GK Punk 07-20-2011 10:18 PM

I noticed that. It's kind of killed my interest in them as well sadly.

I'd be interested in the Lion-O for display purposes. but not the rest. Maybe Grune unless he gets a normal articulated figure.

GK Punk 07-20-2011 10:45 PM

I'm hoping he will in a future wave.

The Grune figure does, as far as I can tell, have normal articulation. It's only the Lion-O and Tygra that come with the bases/stands and the Thundercycles that have altered/lacking articulation. Unlike Lion-O and Tygra, the gimmick that makes Grune a "Deluxe" figure appears to be all in his club weapon.
