Thundercats 2011 Toy Fair WilyKit and WilyKat First Look

Included among the images is a card back of Lion-O where we get to see our first look at WilyKit and WilyKat in a clean High-res pic. It would seem that the images used on the card are of animation and not an actual toy but it gives you an idea of the direction and style.

They look so adorable! I was hoping they'd keep close to their original looks, and it seems they have for the most part. I can't wait to get those toys!

Looks far from final and not really a "Toy Photo" but over all the toys are so well done I have no fear of the final product.

agreed, i was hoping they'd be close, and for the most part they are!

though i think wily kit has had a major improvement! also, they have bushy tails? but the other cats do not have tails? interesting.

It looks like standard placeholder type art, but at least it gives us a great idea of what their designs are. I've been dying to see the two of them the most. I can't wait to see the final figures. I'm going to go broke with all this great Thundercats stuff coming out.

Oh yeah I was going to mention the tails. I wonder if they got them since they are supposed to be more like standard tabby cats?

yea they were my favorite characters in the original, even if most people found them annoying lol

haha yea when rumors went around that they might not be in it, i was like "well then it is NOT thundercats!"

it's not like they were added later on, they were part of the original cast! they ARE the core cast, and unless i am mistaking most of the episodes revolved around them! lol

i always liked how lionO "mistreated" them by treating them like kids, even though, they are roughly the same age, *and may even be older!* lol

lionO thinks just because his body has grown up, that his mind has matured, too, well he missed out on the majority of his youth's experiences.

and went right to being a man.

thus he's more immature then the two of them combined! lol

Hah, that's funny because I always thought of it the same way. I always figured the twins were probably older than Lion O! I wonder if that will still be the case in the new show? Looking forward to seeing what they do with all of these classic characters.

the tails make me wonder if they will explain it like dbz, and their tails are chopped off or something later? after becoming an adult, or something lol maybe it is a styling thing?

and only the kittens have tails.

i totally can't wait for this series, and toy line, i always wanted the twins, but they're also so pricey, and they're just statues too!

hopefully these versions will have articulation!

Hmm, I'm somewhat surprised by that reveal. I hoped they'd be in the show, but I wasn't expecting them to remind me of Palom & Porom from Final Fantasy 4. Huh. Well, they look good, so my optimism is still being rewarded.

Interesting. The designs look fine, though, I do hope that those aren't tactual tails on them. I'd find the idea of Thundercats with actual tails to be, just very odd.

Either way, I'll be looking forward to seeing these two return in the new series! :)

That Mumra on the bottom looks sufficiently big, and fucking amazing. MUMRA FTW!

i think he looks too small, i'll be getting the 6" one for sure lol

i think cheetara would of looked better with a tail, and lionO, and possibly tigra, but i think panthro looks fine with out it. although he needs to be voiced by Beau Billingslea, cuz you know, he LOOKS like Jet. LOL!
