Tygra Adoption Question
 

Is there ever a point in the show where the word "adopted" is used? I realize he's intended to be adopted, but I have some friends who refuse to believe it without the actual word being used. I thought it was specifically used, but can't seem to find where.

I can't remember them ever mentioning in the show that he was adopted, but in the premiere Grune, when comparing the two brothers, and how Tygra couldn't become king, mentioned the bloodline. Thus making it obvious that Tygra was adopted. I imagine they will eventually use the word adopted, but so far I don't think they have.

Okay, thanks for the info. If that's not good enough for them, I guess they'll just have to deal with it.

It's not said in the actual show yet, but it is said outright in interviews.

"So the way we addressed that was to get away from him being the architect, or the scientist, of the series and tried to expand on his character. And the way we did that was we made him the adopted brother of Lion-O"

and

"Tygra's the older adopted brother and from everyone's point of view in the kingdom, he's the one who should be king."
