Wave 2 4" Ideas
 

While I don't think there have been any comments yet, you've got to figure a Wave 2 will come eventually for the 4" line anyway. I know we all have our dream lists of everything we'd like to see, but I was trying to be a bit more realistic and going off what they did with Wave 1 in terms of characters on number of figures per wave and having so many cats with just 1 villain. This is not necessarily what I'd like to see, but what I think Bandai could give us for Wave 2:

Prince Lion-O (outfit he wore in the first/second episode)
Prince Tygra (again, same outfit he wore in the first/second episode)
Slythe
Grune (first appearance in the first/second episode)
Cleric Cheetara
Claudus
Jaga

They're most definitely going to make Slythe, I mean how can they not? I'd also like to see a Jaga and Claudus. Heck, let's get a Lynx-O if the other ThunderCats get introduced.

Here's my list of what I'd like to see, though I have to admit, it's full of wishful thinking:

Basic Figures:
-King Claudus
-Jaga
-Tygra in his blue premiere outfit
-Berbil
-Lynx-O
-Slithe
-Lizard assassin

Deluxe Figures:
-Panthro w/stand
-Cheetara w/stand
-Monkian w/weapons
-Vultureman w/capture gun

Basic Vehicles:
-Dingy w/Snarf
-Snowmeow w/Lion-O
-Thundercycle w/Cheetara

Deluxe Vehicle:
-Mecha-Lizard w/pilot

Deluxe Playset:
-Mumm-Ra's pyramid/tomb

That would be solid and in the deluxe series throw in a "Homeless?" Wilykit and Wilykat two pack.

I would like to see:

Wave 2:
- Prince Lion-O in Premier Outfit w/ 4" in-scale Snarf Pack-In
- Tygra in Blue/Premier Outfit
- Slythe
- Cladus
- Lizard Warrior

Wave 3:
- Jaga
- Grune in Premier Outfit (Pre-Betrayal)
- Cleric Cheetara
- Thundercat Cleric
- "Homeless"/Premier Wilykit and Wilykat 2-Pack

Slithe is actually already made, he is the figure that comes with the Lizard Tank.

I thought that was random Lizard Man...cause he's not called Slythe on the package. Check out the Vid Review in the Review Section. In fact I think he's just called "Lizard".

That's not Slithe (looks nothing like him), it's just a goon of his. Slithe was shown on the back of one of the cards, though that was just a drawing of him, and his actual figure hasn't been shown yet. Also, I forget which one it is, but in one of the trailers for the new show, you can actually see this specific goon standing to Slithe's left.

I want all the regular henchmen and some generic lizard men besides the one that came with the cannon and some generic moneymen and jacklemen.

I'd love to see Lynx-O and a generic cat soldier down the line, as well as other citizens like the Fishmen or Petelars. I'd also like to see those mounts in the vehicle line and the big lizard mech.

The Petelars would be a great pack in accessory.

will thier be a wave 2 before the year is up or is this all the thundercats get this year?

I think that if there was a second wave/series hitting shelves before the end of the year, we probably would have heard and/or seen something by now. Wouldn't surprise me if wave two didn't hit till next spring/summer.

...and sorta off categorey, a deluxe sized claw/shield that fits the deluxe sword. that'd be pimp.

and Wave 2 4" vehicle: those mechs the lizards were wrecking the castle with. I'd buy 2!

I don't care whats in wave 2 as long as we don't have to wait a year to get it like some of the power ranger waves haha. But seriously I want a deluxe battleizer snarf.

But with the Driller I do wonder how they will make him stand. Cause his drills will most likely be soft plastic. Also I think Slithe should be a deluxe figure.

While that is not Slithe, he is pictured on the back of the Deluxe figures box (along with most of wave one). Not only that, but early case assortment listings included Slithe in the basic class. Clearly Bandai have been working on a figure of him. I'd be shocked if Slithe isn't in the next wave of basics or deluxes.

Hey, regarding Slithe, check out the viewing party pack page 2. Slithe is actually pretty big in scale, he's bigger than Panthro. I like that he's big hope that they'll keep the scale of this new series. So far, I like that the bad guys are mostly bigger. Hope that in future episodes they pose a bigger threat for the Thundercats. I like the treatment of Slithe in the cartoon, he's a little more tenacious than the original Slithe, doesn't back down as easily. Hope the rest of the mutants will have that edge.

Yeah, Slythe is a must. I would also like to see some of the other species from episode 7 represented, especially a tigershark.
