so which stores will carry the `Cats?

i'm guessing TRU & Target. Walmart? maybe not.

Definitely TRU will carry the T- Cats probably Target. Hopefully it get more notice at Toy Fair coverage this weekend.

Any ideas of when these guys might be showing up in stores?

I bet around July at the earliest, most likely August or September. (I've been wrong before though!) I live in Central Valley so I'll be keeping an eye out.

Already looked this morning to see if they popped up in TRU... but no luck. wow target didn't get this line? sounds like a big mistake!!!

anyway I was able to get a hold of a 4in Lion-O and Tygra at the Comic Con. I found one of the designers.. and she was giving out figures at the WB booth. I just had to answer a trivia question.... What is the name of the Sword? hahahahah

then I told my friends about her... and they swarmed her... in a minute or two they were all gone.

According the the Bandai Website, retailers for the Thundercats are Toys R Us, Kmart, & Walmart.

I was told by the toy designer in Comic Con, they should be in stores 3 weeks from then. I've also seen some of them are available to order online.... maybe that's what they mean by the toys being available.

walmart and tru are not that reliable when it comes to restocking.

really? i ordered them online through them cause it said in stock and it went through. called and was told they had them as well, after reading this. I guess I better check again with another CSR to confirm.

I ordered them online and they charged me but then they canceled the order. I went in the store and they didn't have them and asked and they said no they didn't have them :confused:

I have not received a cancelled order yet but they do say out of stock on them now. the sword of omens still says in stock. I'll let you know if they show up. I hope it is just that they had enough online orders that they never made it to the shelfs and not that instock was an error. the person i called probably looked at the computer and not the shelfs

I just checked the TRU off the 5 in San Diego and NADDA! Checking Walmarts tomorrow.

Don't bother trying to order from Kmart...I've tried several stores and every order gets canceled...so if it shows in stock, probably means it's not

btw, after taking that picture, i decided panthro needed some modding. gave him a deeper ab crunch and back bend. most importantly, i modded his neck to give him the ability to look up. action poses are way more dynamic now.

I'm not sure why they added the sideburns on Panthro. Not sure why they didn't just keep him bald. It's the same thing they did with Roadblock in GIJOE Renegades. Aside from that I'm digging the 6 inch figures. They look good.

I've hit soooo many stores today with a friend in Northern California and all have come up dry.

Nothing at the Kmart in San Diego off university. A lot of open space in the action figure isle though, so hopeful.

So now I have had 8 orders canceled, this time I spoke to a manager and they said the computer shows the figures are set for release in October...not looking promising to me

Yeah, the KMart website is notorious for how much suck it is.

Nothing at the K-Mart in Pinole, CA. I did see two workers redoing the toy aisles so it may be sooner than later these show up.

Hello Thundercats Fans, I can also confirm that the Thundercats toys are available for online ordering at www.toyrus.com. I placed an order for the classics line and got confirmation of stock and final ship date. Take care guys, possibly available in store this week late or early next week.

Gah, just tried KMart in Costa Mesa on Harbor - no luck on anything.

Guess I'll have to hope for the best with TRU... :(

Maybe I'll just save the gas money and order at Toysrus.com. I haven't had a bad experience ordering from them.

toysrus off of 78 in oceanside had vehicles, roleplay, 6inch characters and8 inch tygra on shelfs

Toys r us in Modesto has a sad little section. Vehicles, 8inch 6inch and Deluxe 4inch. But that was it.

Checked kmart, messed up in the figures section, but I got 4" liono, cheetara,mum ra, 6" liono, mumra,panthro,mum ra.

Going to check out target and Toysrus in a little while

Bit the bullet and just ordered online via TRU. However, still on the lookout for Wily-Kit. :D

Kmart.com is listing 4" Cheetara as "in stock" again. Just ordered one. Was worried because toysrus.com sold out. Hopefully Kmart isn't messing with me.

What TRU was this?

Hello thundercats fans. Just picked up the 8 inch lion-o and tygra as well as the lion-o 6 inch from the Redwood City, CA TOYSRUS. I must admit, this TOYSRUS has the nicest people and workers. I just want say Thank You very much to one of the worker Jesus who brought me the lion-o and tygra 8 inch figures from the back stock. I called in earlier at around 2pm and he asked me to call hm back after a few hours, so then I stopped by and the figures were waiting for me behind the customer service section. Thanks J.

Kmart.com is the worst.
 

I had no idea that the Kmart inventory was based on what was in their stores. I have never ordered from them before and thought they had a warehouse. Now that my order has been cancelled, it is too late to order from from TRU.

Kmart.com promises only lies.

Well I have had close to 10 orders canceled now from them. I also have had an order from a store that shows in stock canceled twice yet they still show in stock even now. Kmart is the worst retailer when it comes to the site, just read all the stories on tfw2005 and hisstank, nobody gets anything from them. Here is hoping next week Toys R Us has them and I can never look at Kmarts site ever again.

Hello Everyone Newbie to the Forums. My Name is Danny and here is my short report and story.

I've tried ALL (I do mean all) the K-Marts in the Los Angeles/Orange County area since Monday. I finally found today the following:

Lion-O and Mumm-Ra 4inch figures
Sword of Omens
ThunderTank

At the K-Mart in 5704 Whittier Blvd
Los Angeles, CA

There were 6 fo the Lion O and Mumm Ra 4 inch figures, 3 Sword of Omens, and just one ThunderTank Left in the store. This was today @ 4:00pm.

The 14" Lion-O I got at San Diego Comic Con last month. I'm putting together my 2011 TC collection in order. It's still under construction.

Tomorrow I wil be in the Ventura/San Bernandino counties searching for more. Good Luck to everyone in their huntings.

TIP! According to an employee I talk in the store. Some K-Marts will launch their TC merchandise on MONDAY. Very few were doing it this week.

Hey Danny, cool collection and thanks for showing your finds and the tip! I would love to drive there right now but I will just wait and check the stores this week. I'm in OC and so it's a bit of a drive.

I found the 4-inch Lion-O/Tygra/Wilykit and Wilycat/Mummra and Panthro. Didn't see Cheetara at the K-Mart in Fairfield, CA. They had the 6 inch figures of Lion-O, Panthro and Mummra and the Thundertank and Sword of Omens toy.

I picked up a 4 inch Lion-O and Tygra.

I found Mumm-Ra, Lion-O, and Panthro 6" at the Kmart in Norwalk, CA.

Try the K-Mart site at your own risk! I had Cheetara, Tygra, WillyKit-WillyKat, Grune the Warrior on store pick up. When I got there they only had the three above.

I'm done with Kmart and now waiting for Wal-Mart and TRU for their merchandise to arrive.

I checked TRU, and they said that they would place them on shelves two to three weeks later, but the customer service guy was nice to me and got two boxes of thundercats and let me choose which ones i wanted so i chose thes two.:):):)
