Use this thread to post up your casting choices for the Live Action Thundercats movie.

It would require quite alot of makeup and bodysuit work but Anthony Hopkins as JAGA works for me. The rest if the cast will take awhile to think up.

Panthro has always been my favorite. For years, I thought Michael Clarke Duncan could pull off the role.

If it was CGI/Live action, Ahmed Best as Snarf and/or Snarfer

I agree 100%. I think besides him:

Lion-o: A young Kurt Russel...Or Matt Damon.

Snarf: Jack Black

Cheetara: Scarlett Johansson

Panthro: Michael Duncan, baby.

Tygra: Brad Pit.

Wileycat: Michael Serra...what? It could be interesting.

Wileykit:...Flo.

Mumm-Ra: Hugo Weaving Or Michael Douglass.

Slythe: Danny Mcbride, this and Monkian can be switched.

Monkian: I'm thinking the rock. I think it could work.

Jackalman: Ray Park, AKA Darth Maul

Here's my take on the main four:

Lion-o: Alex Pettyfer(John from I am Number Four)
Tygra: John Foo(Jin Kazama from Tekken)
Panthro: Terry Crews(Hale Caesar from Expendables)
Cheetara: Kristin Kreuk(Lana Lang from Smallville)

The only way this movie would work IMO is to do it like Polar Express, or the new Christmas Carol. I personally don't see how you can make this live action and have it work. And if it's my way, I'd just get professional voice actors to do it.

However Liam Neeson as Jaga would be awesome.

100% agree.

Kevin Michael Richardson, who voices Roadblock in the Renegades cartoon would work for Panthro I think.

I know this fan-made trailer splices together clips from various sources, but it looks nice; shows it *MIGHT* be possible to do in a live action flick... Though I don't have a preference, I hope it's played straight, dark, & w/ avdecent amount of action.

In regards to what I'd like to see, I would want to see something played serious. If done so, I'm afraid that Wily-kit & -kat. (& yes, even Snarf) can be omitted from the line-up of the film... Now, I would love to see them, but afraid they'd be played up for comedy relief, and therefore may not 'fit' with the rest of the Thundercats team...
