Mumm-Ra Halloween Costume

Thought you folks might appreciate the Halloween costume I did this year. I teach kindergarten in China, so none of the kids had any idea who I was dressed as. They got a good scare out of it though....

It was a while ago but I think the one I saw was an unpainted prototype in resin. I think the main difference was the neck scarf was a sculpted differently.

It was on taobao. I've seen some others on Alibaba, but they were all for bulk orders, so this has been the only one I've been able to get so far.

Grune Chinese Bootleg

Managed to get one of the Chinese knock-off Grune figures. Here's some pics and a comparison with the genuine figure. The only articulation is at the shoulders and knees.

With the regular ones, yeah, they're easily damaged.This one has screws holding it together though, and once they're out it the back comes off really easily.

I just got a Cruncher figure and the grabbing action doesn't work. Pushing the side button makes the figure lean back, but the arms don't move.
