They don't have internet or technology. She'd only know what she had been told about the palace by whoever was taking care of her (if anyone else WAS taking care of her). They don't let just anyone on the grounds. That's why Tygra was guarding the entryway in the first place. Only people with the "proper seals" were allowed past. She just ran past him.
