I imagine they realized that going with such an odd scale wasn't good, and by the sounds of it they didn't sell as well as they were hoping. Makes me wonder why they went with eight inch scaled figures in the first place...I mean...how many action figure lines these days uses that scale?

Hopefully the six inch one's will sell well enough for them to be able to continue them. I'd rather not see another downsize, or worse, a cancellation of Classics all-together...Though I guess if they went down to the four inch scale, it would increase the chances of them making a new toy based on the original thundertank. No matter what happens, I want me a Classic Panthro and Monkian before the line dies...
