This is pretty much what I thought. They must split the inventory so they can sell on multiple sites. Obviously they're not going to back out on Amazon that they can't fulfill the order, especially when they are paying to be on it.

I don't know what problems you've encountered with Amazon but I've probably order from them about 50 times this year and have had no problems. Maybe time to give them another shot?
