What we are saying is she likes him, but there is more to it. Like their destinies are link through the SoO. We are saying in cheetara's past that was one of the factors to have her follow him and she started to like him.

She chose tygra the first time (flower) and chose lion-o a second time (the following around).

We are not saying it is solely based on the SoO or without it.
