Transformers has been known not only for the cool toys that the media advertises, but also the officially licensed merchandise produced as well. TFW2005.com board member

shares such an instance with us found at
JCPenney's
. Two sets of
Transformers: Dark of the Moon
clocks, one featuring
Optimus Prime
and the other featuring
Bumblebee
, are available for purchase at $28 either at your local JCPenney's store or by ordering via their website.
Each set features both a clock and a digital watch that transforms (!) stored in a tin carrying case. These novelty items even point back to the early
Generation One
days with the transforming watches, as they are very akin to the mail-away exclusive
G1 Time Warrior
and
the Watchbots
(which was an attempt by
Takara
to market their
Kronoform
line).
You can view the photos of these new
Transformers: Dark of the Moon clocks taken at the JCPenney's store as well as the product photos after the jump!
