Was doing some shopping today when I visited Kiddies Corner (It's sort of a Sri Lankan version of Toys "R" Us where they sell only the original toys and not knockoffs like most places).

I was surprised to see them stocking Thundercats figures. Previously, the Thundercats figures and the new TMNT figures were illegal to sell in Sri Lanka and other Asian countries but this was actually an Asian Exclusive... a Funskool Variant just like the Funskool Variant G. I. Joe: International Hero back in the early 90s.

The packaging lacks "New Series on CN" instead replaced by a "Funskool" sticker. I peeled the sticker a little bit to see if CN is underneath... nope.

There were 4'' Lion-O, Cheetara, Tygra and Panthro. Also 6" Modern and 8" Classic Lion-O

4" figures were US$ 30
6" figure was US$ 50
8" figure was US$ 80

Pretty expensive, I know.

I only had enough money to buy a 4" Lion-O. But still didn't open my figure yet.

Here is a couple of in-box shots. I don't have a US Lion-O to compare it with, I'll post some more photos later. Bit busy at the moment.
