The chief character designer of the original 80's ThunderCats Cartoon Jim Ross Meskimen returns to ThunderCats 2011.

ThunderCats fans should know his work on designing all the new characters that populated “Third Earth”, and a lot of weapons, devices, vehicles, and strange plants and animals.

I never knew of Mr. Meskimen's work until I read this. I am very happy to see him returning for work on the new series, and, if he ever reads this, I do have something I would like to say.

Thank you, Sir, for all your work. You helped to make Thundercats not only a true classic that has withstood the test of time, but also, a series that meant so much to me, and many others as well.
