I am so excited for these new 6 inch figures. I want to get the Lion-o, Panthro, and Mumm-ra so that I have them for these two new ones. I like the Classic Mumm-ra and I am okay with Roar face Lion-o. For the price of the set, I hope Mumm-ra comes with a sword and dagger and both comes with different heads so that we can put a not so scary face for both figures.

Ok, so I might still be able to get an 8" classic Cheetara? That's all I care about. I was going to collect the whole 8" classic line but if I only get Cheetara that works too. Cheetara is the only figure I kept from my childhood collection so I might as well only collect her.

See, this is why I did not buy 4-inch Cheetara or Tygra. Both are awesome.

Comments indicate we can expect redecos or new armor variants for the main characters in the 6 inch line for the future, as well as Wilykit/kat. I hope for a poseable Snarf too.

And man, the classics designs look worse and worse now in comparison with the new ones. Especially Lion-O. One of the reasons I never liked Thundercats as a kid, the whole superhero-spandex look.. on alien cat people...

Bit annoyed that they stopped the 8 inch line seeing as how I started collecting it and really liked the figures. However, 6 inch classics are quite a good idea although I would have preferred Bandai to do that from the start instead of mucking us about. I don't like the roaring face on 6 inch classic Lion-o, they should have kept it normal. Classic Mumm-ra seriously needs a cape. He looks ridiculous without it. The LJN one never had it and that really disappointed me when I was a kid. I would have thought that by now they'd be able to do a Mumm-ra figure with a cape included. Also, the 6 inch modern Mumm-ra having no wings is a bummer because other than that it is a really nice figure.

They never did say when it would be on the way. All they did was confirm it was on it's way. I imagine it'll be something in wave 3, since it looks like they might stick to releasing two characters per wave for the six inch scale (counting the twins as "one" since they're packaged together).

They haven't. They're continuing, but in a "limited capacity".

That still sucks though because they will be hard to find, more expensive and we probably won't get many characters in that line. I'm currently collecting the 6" line for both modern and classic (Classic Mumm-ra and Lion-o are available on amazon and ebay right now through enchantedtoychest just in case you wanted to know.) The question is, do I bail on the 8 inch line now? I don't know what to do because I do like them but wouldn't want to pay over the odds if I have them in 6 inch. It won't take as long to build up a collection in the 6 inch line and they've definitely done right by putting Mumm-ra in wave 1

Tell me that isn't the only version of Slithe we're getting? Barrel breaking action?!

Slithe with those barrels reminds me of a video game.

I just realized that Mumm-Ra doesn't include a Ma-Mutt figure...this saddens me...

Maybe they'll make Classic Wily Kit and Kat as a two pack, and make Classic Snarf and Ma-Mutt as a 2 pack?

Here's hoping.

I wasn't planning on getting the modern sculpted figures in the 6-inch scale but after seeing Tygra and Cheetara I think I just might.

I was hoping to collect the main team in 8". That's now looking increasingly unlikely. Unless by 'limited capacity' they mean stocking a few in TRU rather than ccomic con exclusives.

I'm actually wondering if I even want to hang on to Lion-O and Tygra now if they're not going to at least release the other 4.

You could wait a while, until the 8 inch figures are extremely rare and sought after, THEN sell them.

I could, but that will take several decades. What I did was take them back to TRU and exchanged them for the modern 6" Lion-O and Panthro. Both of whom will probably never be incredibly rare, but I buy toys to display not to resale, and I want a full team, and that 6" Lion-O's head is so bad it puts me off the whole line!
