Who is this in my Lion-o package?

Got this today. Anybody have any idea who this is inside the Lion-O package? This figure isn't pictured on the back of the package, and he sure doesn't look like Lion-O. The figure doesn't even look articulated. Is this a packing mistake by BanDai? I know it's not a switcheroo, because the package was sealed and there was more than one like this. Here's the photos.




Thanks for your help in advance. I'm out of the loop with the new cartoon. I'm an old school Thundercats fan, but I'm falling in love with these new toys and trying to put a set of everything together. I thought this Lion-O looked unusual and was worth mentioning.

Yep. Looks like a double switcher-oo. Those packages are easy to reseal, since they are only taped to the card. Strange though.

I'm not trying to pull a fast one on anybody. There were six between two different stores and they were all like this. You can see in my second pic that there are two right there side by side on the store shelf.

Thats a Mattel "THE BATMAN" Dracula DVD pack in exclusive PVC figure. I have one so, yeah I recognize it.

You're right! I looked at a pic of that DVD set on the net with the figure.



I don't really blame the employees, because it's hard for them to know what the figure should look like in the package, and easy for them to mistakenly accept a fraudulant return.

The Dracula fig exclusive to the Batman DVD set seems like an odd figure to have six of laying around though to do switcheroos, since presumably you would have had to buy six of these DVD sets. But that must be the case because the source I got the picture from dates the Dracula figure circa 2006ish.

So super main point of this story... blahbitty blah blah... people suck.

The employees just don't care. The packaging has pictures of Lion-o all over it, front and back. You would have to be a complete dumb ass not to see that. It's bull shit. The person who made the switch definetly stole the DVD sets with the figure too. I See this shit all the time.
