Working on molding my own Sword of Omens for Lion-O in resin, as this thing is just a rubber band imo, I get safety and all that, but still...

Bought the whole hero cast in 1/18, the Thundertank, the Tower of Omens, Grune, Lizard, both Thunderracers, and the big version of Mumm-ra, not the magnetic wing one. Been mostly impressed, though I wish they'd give waist joints to more figures, bicep swivels to them all, and fix Cheetara. God, she had the worst articulation of the bunch for her size.

Finally saw these guys at retail. Got me a Classics Lion-O. I'm going to go at this line one or two figures at a time. My set of the Classics arrived today courtesy of BBTS. I had originally placed a preorder w/ Entertainment Earth for a Lion-O and Tygra, but after they pushed their estimated arrival date back to Sept, I went ahead and cancelled that order and instead purchased with BBTS, which had them in stock. I purchased a Tygra @ TRU a few weeks back, but it's nice to finally have Lion-O in hand as well. These figures really are...pardon the expression...the cat's meow. I have another Lion-O en route via Amazon (should arrive tomorrow) so after that I'm all set. Got two each of the Classics so I can open a set and leave another MIP. And, as if that wasn't enough awesomeness for one day, today is my daughter's b-day. She's turning 8 and one of the gifts she's been the most persistent in coveting is the Deluxe Sword of Omens. I can't wait until she gets home from school so I can give that to her along w/ her other presents! Should be fun. Later....

Just picked up my first Thundercats fig at Walmart tonight, 4 inch Panthro. Didn't like the old series too much, but the new one is, in my opinion (and a lot of other people's opinions), amazing! Then I saw my Walmart didn't have any spot for Thundercats AT ALL in the toy section, so I mentioned it to an employee and two weeks later, there are two lone pegs full of four inch figs. I ended up picking up Panthro because the others shouldn't be too hard to find in comparison later on.

Went to Walmart tonight for groceries and checked the Thundercats, and there was only one left of Cheetara, Wikykit, and Wilykat, so I picked up Cheetara. Would've gotten the Wilykids but... the lack of articulation is really turning me off, so I'll wait and get them last.

I just found out my girlfriend ordered me a 14" mezco lion-o. I'm gonna definatelybgetbthe mumm-ra and probably anything else they make in that scale. Huge and affordable. Much better option than the statues for me even though the statues are cool.
