Marvel. SUCKFEST. Saw all the Avengers and Spidey stuff. Oh boy, is it bad. Articulation on the Avengers stuff has been cut way back across the line. Most have no body, wrist or ankle movement. The Spidey stuff all has T crotches. On the plus side, there are lots of vehicles coming out for the Avengers movie. The Justice jet gets an IM style repaint, there's a new Cap vehicle that looked like a small tank with wheels, the Quinjet and the f*****g HELICARRIER!

Helicarrier is three feet long, has the usual firing missiles and s***. Looks pretty good but is only big enough for the Quinjet to fit on it's runway. The Quinjet is pretty big. Only one figure can fit in the cockpit but it has other opening panels and stuff. There were no new Avengers figures apart from what has already been seen.
The Spidey stuff is horrible, just repaints of the same buck. Lizard is ok, but the design of his head is crap. He doesn't have the long snout. Massive fail.

Building upon the UK Toy Fair Avengers Movie Toy Info posted earlier this week, we can now see just how limited the articulation is, on the mainline figures. If you were looking forward to Ultimate Hawkeye and Ultimate Thor, perhaps you might want to take a closer look. They lack abdominal articulation, and in lieu of double jointed knees, they know feature ball jointed knees. Seems like some of the mainline figures lack ankle joints and wrist swivels. This makes their articulation style closer to the 3-3/4" Spiderman line than it does to anything else. It actually looks like the deluxe figures(now dubbed "Power Up Mission Packs") might feature the full articulation we've come to expect from Marvel movie figures(like in recent years from the Iron Man, Thor, & Captain America).

On the bright side, the canceled/unreleased Iron Man 2 Exo Armors are finally seeing the light of day as Stark Tek Assault Armor, 1 for Iron Man and 1 for Captain America. We also get a much better look as the Avengers Movie Quinjet, and another Stark Tek Battle Vehicle was revealed, the Goliath Assault Tank! Other items shown include:

• Role play weapons

• Avengers Movie Mighty Battlers
• Avengers Movie 8 Inch Figures
• Avengers Movie Accelerators(pull-back motorcycles)

Big Fish will handle sourcing in Asia and wholesale sales worldwide through its established manufacturing and distribution partners.

This spring’s Mass Effect action figures will mark Big Fish Toy’s first release for retail sale under its own label. The fully-articulated figures, ranging between 6 3/8” and 7 ¼”, will be intricately sculpted with collector-level paint decoration. They will be securely packaged in a clam-shell blister card. The figures will be manufactured at a vendor who has produced some of the top collector action figure lines of the last couple decades, and in fact produced the Cole piece for Big Fish. Figures should be available for sale by April 2012. As a bonus, each figure will include a downloadable content pack for the Mass Effect 3 multi-player mode (on PC and XBox) that could include powerful new weapons and new characters. The pack could also include character boosters, weapon modifications, and weapon upgrades to make your multi-player squad stronger.
