The comic will also include the two page preview to the comic story, titled Moving Violations, which was released online in the lead up to Botcon 2011 and introduces Animated Cheetor. This issue's cover art is by Thomas Deer, and it's due to hit stores in November. |

Chalk up one more for the "rumors" column - an auction has appeared on Taobao listing a pre-order for something called G-02 Titan. The listing comes with a silhouetted Fortress Maximus, suggesting that this is a third party manufacturer's attempt at creating a modern update of Fortress Maximus, although what we here at TFW2005 can gather from translations of the auction listing is misleading at best. We're guessing it is a new version, though, due to the way the name is given in a typical format for a third party release. As always, watch this space and we'll update with more information as it becomes available.
One question remains though - if this is a G-02, what is G-01...? |

An interesting listing has appeared on Amazon for a hardcover version of Last Stand of the Wreckers, the seminal series by James Roberts and Nick Roche that pretty much redefined Transformers comic book storytelling. What's so interesting - other than this excellent series getting some hardcover love - is that compared to the previous trade paperback release, this release clocks in at 172 pages - there's an extra 40 pages of content in there compared to the last release.
The Last Stand of the Wreckers Hardcover Edition is due for release in January 2012 and is priced at $29.99. |

This month we have a lot of special treats for you. We take a look back and celebrate The Transformers: The Movie's 25th anniversary! Remember that early script that was released earlier this year? And one of my favorite pieces, Joe Moore gives us a behind the scenes look at the Fan Commentary that was included on the 20th Anniversary DVD release of Transformers: The Movie, with never before seen pictures of the recording session and more! Our own Sol Fury brings us another convention look-back, this time he chronciles his adventures in the land up north of Canada and TFcon - complete with a convention review and the Stronghold and Toxin toy review! Kickback gets his Not-Insecticon on with FansProject's Casuality series with a Thundershred review, Shin Densetsu looks at the Cyberverse toyline, and Secretcode looks at "bases" in his latest installment of Gimmickry! Please click here to read the full issue! Don't forget - this month we finally get all of our Community Spotlights together and feature Fan Fiction, Fan Art, Radicon Customs, and Collection Showcase! Please take the time to check out some of these great pieces by some of your favorite board members! Click here to read TFWe Issue 04!!! NOTE: TFWe is looking to feature special guest artists and guest columns by guest writers! For information in participating with TFWe, please click here. Mastermind Collectibles have posted a pair of images on their Facebook wall, showing off the alternate versions of their Hexatron. Previous images had teased at three different Hexatrons - we already knew that Terminus Hexatron would be an unofficial Sixshot, but revealed here are Grandus Hexatron and Shadow Hexatron, who are based on the other two variations on the Sixshot toy released in the 80s and 90s. Grandus Hexatron is a version based on the Transformer Greatshot, from Transformers Victory, complete with all the design variations. Shadow Hexatron is something I never thought I'd see - an unlicensed Brave toy! Shadow Hexatron is based on Shadow Maru, a character from Takara's 1994 Brave series anime Brave Police J-Decker. While he's not a Transformer like Sixshot or Greatshot, he recycled the same mold.
Check out both the images and share your thoughts on our 2005 Boards. |

D-Drive has sent us the Diamond Comics Shipping list for next Wednesday, 7 September! There's just one comic on the list for next week - Transformers Ongoing 25, a part of the Chaos event and part one of "The Last Story on Earth"! (and also the incentive cover)
TRANSFORMERS ONGOING #25 (also it's incentive) Mike Costa (w) o Brendan Cahill (a) o Marcelo Matere, Cahill (c) "The Last Story on Earth" part 1 of 3! While there is much "CHAOS" on Cybertron, there's no less bedlam here on Earth as our remaining Autobots investigate the accusation that Spike, their trusted human ally, murdered a TRANSFORMER in cold oil(?) Now it's up to our heroes to find the truth and decide the fate of human/Cybertronian relations for years to come! Prowl and Jazz take center stage! |

Some new images have surfaced of the X-Transbots Wheelie figure. This unofficial third party item copies and upscales the event-only Jizai Toys Wheelie - this version is roughly the size of Masterpiece Grimlock's sword so is approximately in scale with Scout Class figures. The name, logos and packaging are all direct copies of the real Transformers details - making this even more of an outright copy of Hasbro's IP than nearly any other unofficial product out there.
Release details are currently unconfirmed, but the price is expected to be in the range of $35 to $45. |

News now for our friends in the Netherlands - Transformers Prime will be arriving this Sunday 4 September! In the Netherlands, TF Prime will air at 7:50 am on Nickolodean! No word on if the show will be the English language version or a dub. The early timeslot may not suit fans like us, but it's Prime (bad pun I know) time for the kids getting up and having their breakfast.
This news comes to you from Nickolodean's NL page, by way of Transfanclub.net. |

We now know that PE-12 is a toy that is a Deluxe-Sized toy modeled after Generation One Arcee and will be shown off at the Super Festival in Japan later this month. The toy comes with a sniper rifle and a display stand. We will have a clearer look when the event comes, but until now you can enjoy some teaser pictures. |

Yes - the titles of this episode and episode 23 do juxtapose against each other quite nicely! Will episodes 25 and 26 continue on 8 and 15 October respectively? We sure hope so - keep it TFW2005 and we will let you know as soon as we receive confirmation! |

Good news for War for Cybertron and Generations fans! The "Rage over Cybertron" three pack, consisting of redecos of War for Cybertron Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron has been released in Canada! Following a tip from 2005 Boards member Courtdevil, Venksta was able to pick up this set from the Broadway "Bowmac" TRU in Vancouver. The stinger though is the Canadian retail price of $49.99.
With shelf tags out in the US already, will it be long before we can report a US release for this set as well? |

For today's featured Ebay auction, we draw your attention to a very special trio of auctions. The talented customizers at Cybertron.CA have teamed up to create a special team of custom Wreckers, with all proceeds going to the Canadian Fallen Heros Foundation. I got the oppotunity to see these customs in person at TFcon and they are fantastic one of a kind pieces showcasing a lot of hard work and talent - so check out the auctions and bid generously - it's all for charity.

When we shared our galleries of the Transformers United E-Hobby exclusives with you last week, I promised we had another Transformers United multipack in store. Well, we're keeping good on that promise today - on Decepticon turf you have tumbled, and here comes Rumble (and also Frenzy).
The Transformers United Frenzy & Rumble pack was sold at a Voyager pricepoint, which seems a bit steep for a pair of Scouts. Nonetheless right now it remains the only way to own this Decepticon duo, who feature some pretty nifty arm transformations to give them their signature piledriver attacks. Red or blue does not really matter - they're both here for your enjoyment and they're both rather cool. Hopefully they will one day see release at US retail rather than being forever consigned to high aftermarket prices on the United set. But enough talk from me! Thanks to ACTOYS, we now have a gallery of the upcoming Target Exclusive Deluxe Leadfoot for the Dark of the Moon line. The toy is part of an exclusive two-pack, alongside a version of the Deluxe Topspin toy that may or may not be called Twin Twist. It is currently unknown if the Topspin that is in this gallery is the one that is in the two-pack or not, but be sure to stick with us as more information comes in.

If you're like me, then you're impatient. You're either waiting for a package to hit your doorstep or anxiously awaiting funds to be transfered to an account. But, thanks to 2005 Board member, Cooksux, those of us with patience problems can have a temporary respite. Take a look at this pictorial review he has shared with us of the new Fansproject CA-04 Stormbomb figure, which is hitting mailboxes now.
Enjoy the pictures then tell us what you think of the figure in the feedback thread! |

Don't get too excited folks, this isn't another entry into the Dual Model Kit range. We have no info and images to share of the upcoming Starscream model, which will be sold in both Movie 1 and Movie 2 versions. The kit is a 1/144 representation of the F-22 Raptor (incorrectly listed over at Rakuten as F-15s) and comes with a stand to display the completed model on.
